sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was christened Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone, Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan on July 6 the 6th of July, 1946. The elder son of Italian-born Francesco "Frank" Stallone , Jr who worked as a hairdresser. Jackie Stallone, an astrologer and dancer. Frank Stallone is his younger brother and actor. Sylvester was left paralysed on the lower left of his face due to complications that occurred during childbirth. He is now sporting the famous "snarling" expression and slightly high pitched voice. Due to the volatile family dynamics between his parents, Stallone spent his first years in foster care. The couple later split up. Stallone studied drama at American College in Switzerland, before attending the University of Miami. He left school before completing his degree and moved to New York City to pursue acting as a profession.
