Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986 Hereford, England) is an English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding rose quickly to the top with her electronic pop sound after capturing the attention of the world by releasing "Starry Eyed,"" and "Guns and Horses" in the year 2010. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding's soprano quirk and ability to write catchy but emotionally sincere songs puts her on the frontline of popular music of the present in addition to the art and indie pop scene. She ultimately signed a major-label contract to Polydor Records and began making preparations for her debut album.
