Lis Wehl, born August 19, 1961 in the United States she is an author as well as a the former legal expert of Fox News.
She currently serves as an adjunct law professor of law at New York Law School. Prior to that she served as an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She has also provided legal analysis on the National Public Radio program and the Bill O'Reilly radio show, The Radio Factor. She has been a frequent guest on The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was born in Yakima and went to West Valley High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in law from Barnard College (1983), the Master of Arts in Literary Studies from University of Queensland (1985), and an Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl served as prosecutor for the US Attorney's Office. She was a legal reporter on NPR's All Things Considered. She was "the deputy chief investigator for Democrats within the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." She was a tenured professor of laws in the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 She also directed an organization called the Trial Advocacy Program. She was an analyst at Fox News from 2001 until the year 2017.
