Coleman was raised in the Lancashire town of Blackpool. She was educated at Arnold School in Blackpool. As headgirl, she earned straight A grades for her A Levels. In a discussion about her Emmerdale role, Coleman admitted that she regretted that she did not have a traditional University experience. Coleman became a member of the theater group, In Yer Space while during her time at university. She performed with them during the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. She won an award for her performance, and the production was also well-received. Coleman, who was looking to audition for drama college in 2005, got Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. In 2007, Coleman was nominated for two prizes. Coleman received two nominations in 2007: Best Newcomer for the British Soap Awards; and the most Popular Newcomer in the National Television Awards. In the British Soap Awards of 2009 she was awarded in the categories of Best Actress and Sexiest female and the Best acting in a Drama. Coleman was awarded a Television Choice Award for Best Actress. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press meeting held on the 21st March 2012 that Coleman would replace Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat selected her for the role because she is the most effective in her interactions with Smith and was able to speak faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been working in the industry of entertainment since 1987. She has been much prominent on TV than films. Eva is best known for her role as Doctor. Maria Santos on All My Children and detective Natalia Boa Vistas from CSI Miami. The latter even garnered her two nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards and gave her a chance to experiment with her talents in music. Eva is an entrepreneur, as well as an actor. The third man she has married is the father of her daughter.
