Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss has been a country artist for more than 30 years. Her birthplace was in Decatur, Illinois on the 23rd of July, 1971. LeAnn Kymes and Alison Krauss were the two youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss was born in July of 1971. Alison is a bluegrass and country singer. She was a teenager when she began her journey into the world of music winning local competitions from the age of 10 old and recording her first album when she was 14 years. She was signed in 1985 to Rounder Records. Her first solo album came out in 1987. The band invited her to join the band with whom she performs Alison Krauss and Union Station and released her first album as a group in 1989.
